Begin your journey with an overnight in the Danish capital, Copenhagen, and the opportunity to visit the Viking Museum and cruise the city's canals as the sun sets. We cross to Norway now, sailing to Arendal, famed for its watersports, and Sandnes, where you can jump on a bike and explore the flourishing arts scene. Heading west we call at city of Kirkwall on Orkney, to see Neolithic standing stones and go birdwatching, and trace the Viking roots of Lerwick in the Shetland Islands. At Torshavn in the Faroes, there's a chance to explore curious turfed-roof houses and enjoy a hike to the "Floating Lake", Leitisvatn, before we arrive in the Icelandic capital, Reykjavík.
